CONFERENCE UPDATE

REGISTRATION REMINDER

Don’t forget to register for the P24 Conference! The priority registration deadline is October 10th. After this date, registration fees will increase by $100. To assist with your registration, we’ve updated the justification letter for this year.

There are some exciting highlights about the program below, but please remember to check-out the Sessions at a Glance and Schedule at Glance available on the P24 conference site to get an idea of how exciting of a conference the team has planned.

LEADING WITH HEART

Our 2024 conference theme is “PACRAO has heart”, a reminder of the need for compassion in our words and deeds in every aspect of our lives, including in our professional spaces. One of our pre-conference workshops, Leading with Heart: Stronger Together, focuses on this topic. Spend a morning with three senior leaders from different institutions and gain knowledge and practical approaches that can enhance your heart-led leadership.

2024 ED Talks

PACRAO conference go-ers will be familiar with our annual ED Talks from members in our community. This year, we want to open up the ED Talk to the community to take part. The theme for the 2024 ED Talk is “NAVIGATING CHANGE” - whatever that might mean in your professional life. It’s an opportunity to participate in a conference session, in a short, communal context.

If you are interested in sharing your story as part of a group, please check out and fill in the ED Talk share story form. The Program Committee will review the share story requests, and depending upon the number and kinds of story requests received, will get back to you by October 18th about the format and time. OPENING NIGHT SPEAKER

Our conference kicks off Sunday with Richard Taylor Jr, a mental health advocate and author, who will inspire and encourage us in keeping empathy top of mind in a society tending towards apathy.

We are thrilled to have Richard as one of our Featured Speakers and look forward to learning more from him on the first night of the conference!
