Position Summary:
The Scheduling Application and Business Analyst works in a team with other Office of the Registrar staff tasked with facilitating the day-to-day operations and long term planning of the Office of the Registrar's systems. The Scheduling Application and Business Analyst is a technical and functional expert with an understanding of the business needs and processes and the assigned applications that support the Office of the Registrar's mission. The Scheduling Application and Business Analyst participates in the analysis and evaluation of technical needs in the Office of the Registrar and works directly with Office of the Registrar's staff and with the University community to develop or resolve system and application design needs for scheduling and other processes. The Scheduling Application and Business Analyst assists the Manager of Scheduling Systems to support the functional and technical aspects of the Series25 application and scheduling systems. The Scheduling Application and Business Analyst works with other Registrar Office staff to ensure excellent service to the University community and by performing other duties as assigned. This person is a member of the Office of the Registrar team and works cooperatively with other office staff to achieve University and Office of the Registrar goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or completion of 60 credit hours of college-level course work
Two years experience working in higher education or supportive IT role
Experience providing customer service and a record of working effectively and cooperatively with diverse clientele in determining project needs and timelines
Experience working within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Two years experience in a Registrar’s Office
Strong attention to detail
Experience using Series 25 (25Live)
Ellucian/Banner technical knowledge
Demonstrated experience prioritizing and managing several projects simultaneously and successfully
Ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously and successfully
Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Good knowledge and understanding of computer security issues
Project Management experience
Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
