Job Details
Core Duties
  • Provide assistance to students, staff, alumni, faculty, and members of the public in-person and over the phone with information requests, registration, add/drop, withdrawals, leave of absence, and confidentiality requests.
  • Assist in processing address changes, changes of grade, major/minor forms, name changes, transcript requests, and transfers within the University.
  • During peak times assist with commencement, advance registration, start of term and end of term.
  • Process petitions for course substitutions and equivalents
  • Update and maintain prerequisites in Degree Works.
  • Assist with Degree Works system enhancements, integrated systems implementation with Banner and upgrades.
  • Update and maintain academic program requirements in Degree Works each academic year.
  • Assist with collaboration with the college/schools across campus to facilitate use by both students and faculty of the Degree Works degree audit system.
  • Check articulated transfer credit for accuracy via Degree Works audits.
  • Shared responsibility with Transfer Articulation Specialist for processing and reviewing curriculum changes and Transfers within the University.
  • Be knowledge of the academic information sections of the bulletin and course schedules within three weeks of publication.
  • Be knowledgeable of FERPA policies regarding release of student information and act within University guidelines.
Education and Experience
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Required: Two years’ experience with a complex computer software in an office environment.
  • Or a combination of equivalent education and/or experience.
