Brief Description
As a member of the Registration, Residency & Transcripts leadership team, the Senior Coordinator for Registration is responsible for a student-centered registration process, enrollment exception management, and accurate academic records to ensure an equitable and efficient student experience. The Senior Coordinator and team will ensure excellent academic service and consistency of policy interpretation for their area of responsibility.
The Office of the Registrar is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the academic record. Serving all students, faculty, academic units, and student support functions; the Office is charged with implementing academic and student policies and their alignment with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. The Office strives to be a leader and thought partner in creating efficient processes designed to support student success and service excellence.

Oversee academic petition and tuition appeal processes and ensure consistent and fair application of evaluation
Manage academic grading and support for Instructor Center and faculty grade submission
Supervise and support professional staff
Provide analysis and feedback for improved business processes and policy revisions and recommendations to create efficiencies and to improve service to the campus community
Create student-centered and efficient processes and operations to support student success and uphold the integrity of the academic record and institution
Evaluate student records and enrollment requests for exception and adherence to university policy and other related academic scenarios
Resolve complex enrollment and student record issues with academic and student service departments
Contribute to projects and initiatives to create equitable and consistent experiences for students
Assist with process/system improvements for student systems

Knowledge of University policies

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field
Direct experience in student records, academic advising, or student academic support services
