Brief Description
We have an exciting opportunity for candidates interested in a leadership opportunity. Reporting to the Assistant Registrar for Progression and Completion, the Curriculum Coordinator supervises staff in the Curriculum Unit of the Office of the Registrar and performs duties which include conducting detailed analyses of degree pathways, overseeing the undergraduate catalog production, implementing curriculum changes in MyUNLV and Acalog, and managing curriculum workflows in Curriculog. Besides these duties, the position maintains regular contact university-wide with various curriculum committees and academic units and with colleagues in NSHE. In the course of this work, the Coordinator will have wide latitude to make decisions on how best to implement changes to the curriculum based on approvals received from faculty curriculum committees.

Job Details

This position requires a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university, 3-5 years of relevant work experience, and 1-3 years of supervisory experience. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment. Additional education or years of relevant experience may substitute for supervisory experience. Previous experience working with academic faculty and/or university curriculum preferred.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities include:

  • Understanding of curriculum workflow and catalog content.
  • Awareness and appreciation for information privacy rules and standards.
