Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of policies, regulations, and practices with student records services.
Experience in an academic service unit of a comparably complex educational setting, involving the activities of residency for tuition purposes and enrollment services.
Thorough working knowledge of University policies, processes, and procedures and of Federal and California laws pertaining to the privacy rights of students and access to student information.
Proficient skill and knowledge of Access, Excel, SQL-DSE, ISIS (preferred), Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and other various software applications. Experience using complex databases.
Knowledge of the theory, concepts, and policy types of all US Immigration and Naturalization Service laws, federal regulations, and guidelines as it pertains to residency for tuition purposes.
Proven experience in an academic unit involved in the activities related to residency for tuition purposes and enrollment services.
Thorough knowledge of specialized registrar core functions (e.g., degree requirements, special enrollment, veterans' benefits, and residency).
Proven ability to apply working knowledge of policies to individual situations in a diverse learning community.
