What you’ll be doing: 
 
Developing Amazing People and Teams by: 
  • Providing experience, coaching, advice, and leadership to Registrar’s Office staff. 
  • Dedicating time and energy to professional and personal development (for you and your team) and training members of the Registrar’s Office and other campus partners on a variety of topics and resources. 
  • Communicating consistently to keep our staff and the campus community informed. 
 
Improving Processes by: 
  • Understanding and evaluating the current state. 
  • Implementing carefully developed changes for more efficiency, technology-enhancement. 
 
Additionally, you will: 
  • Advise in the strategic direction and daily operations of the Registrar’s Office to assist the office and UVU in meeting goals and objectives. 
  • Represent the Registrar and the Registrar’s Office as directed on committees, task forces, and other strategic initiatives in collaboration with student and academic affairs personnel. 
  • Provide high-quality customer service and champion customer service throughout the team. 
  • Be responsible for various special projects and assignments. 
 
The Associate Registrar reports to the University Registrar and directly supervises two assistant registrars who manage the graduation and transfer credit teams. In total, the Registrar’s Office employs about 30 people, both full and part time.
